The programme will include:

  • Two full days of academic and technical sessions
  • Opportunities for international networking and knowledge exchange
  • A gala dinner
  • Technical visits on the final day

Register to the 15th International Symposium on Concrete Roads!

With over 120 expert papers selected, our 2026 programme reflects the full spectrum of modern pavement engineering, covering a wide range of topics in which you are sure to find your favourite applications.

Key Technical Themes & Highlights:

  • Decarbonization & Circularity: Low-carbon cements (CEM II/III, CSA), hydraulic road binders, recycled aggregates (RCA, RAP, railway ballast), supplementary materials such as rice husk ash, and upcycled wind turbine blades and recycled plastics.
  • Airports, Ports & Heavy-Duty Infrastructure: Advanced structural design, fatigue analysis, and life-cycle performance tailored for container terminals, logistics hubs, and airfields.
  • Smart Design, AI & Digitalization: Predictive maintenance powered by AI, neural network modelling for strength prediction, finite element modelling, and non-destructive evaluation (TSD, FWD, sUAS).
  • Next-Gen Construction & Surface Technologies: Innovations in two-lift RCC, slipform paving, low-noise Next Generation Concrete Surfaces (NGCS), pervious pavements, and energy-harvesting concrete paving systems.
  • Asset Management and Concrete Pavement Preservation: Decades of performance data from international highway networks, full-depth reclamation, surface restoration and repair protocols.
  • Urban Applications & Aesthetic Design: Decorative concrete for the redevelopment of public spaces, pervious cast-in-place pavements and permeable roads, dedicated bus lanes (CRCP), tramway infrastructure, and scenic routes.

Connect, Collaborate and Network:

Beyond the technical sessions, the Symposium serves as the leading global meeting point for the concrete paving industry. Málaga will bring together international experts, road authorities, researchers, contractors, equipment manufacturers, and material suppliers.

Whether during interactive sessions and workshops, poster presentations, coffee breaks, exhibition hours, or our social events along the Costa del Sol, you’ll have dedicated space to reconnect with peers, exchange practical insights, and forge new partnerships.
