As of 1 January 2025, EUPAVE will have a new Managing Director, Hervé Camerlynck. Hervé is already involved in EUPAVE as Director of the Board through his position of Director of FEBELCEM, Federation of the Belgian Cement Industry.
After 15 years as Managing Director of EUPAVE, Luc Rens is leaving this position. However, he’ll keep on serving EUPAVE in his new role as Technical Director. We are grateful for his years of leadership and look forward to his continued contribution.
Luc will now focus on the technical and sustainability aspects of the organisation’s work. He will keep on leading the various working groups such as Best Practices, Concrete Safety Barriers, Sustainability and Resilience and Concrete Pavement Statistics. Luc will also continue to represent EUPAVE at international events and meetings.
Both Hervé and Luc will work closely together to continue EUPAVE’s mission of promoting the use of concrete in European transport infrastructure. We wish them both every success in their new roles and look forward to a bright future of EUPAVE.
